In Utero cover recreated from... food

A Japanese website has recreated dozens of famous album covers, including that of Nirvana's In Utero using typical lunch box ingredients.

The ingredients are chosen for their color match, laid over the original albums, cut into shape and then placed on top of the standard rice base.

Albums given the bento box (the standard lunchtime meal for millions of Japanese office workers) treatment include In Utero by Nirvana, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb by U2 and Voodoo Lounge by the Rolling Stones.

The website displays photos of the food art next to the original album covers, and the results are often impressive.
