Nirvana inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
At a ceremony in New York last night, Nirvana was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Remaining Nirvana members Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear closed the show, performing various Nirvana songs live for the first time in over 20 years with assorted singers such as Joan Jett and Lorde. Jett sang "Smells Like Teen Spirit," [Kim] Gordon took on "Aneurysm," St. Vincent performed "Lithium" and Lorde covered "All Apologies" with bassist Krist Novoselic, drummer Dave Grohl and guitarist Pat Smear after the band was inducted by R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe.
